I've built the front-end features of several app-like websites. These two are the ones that I developed for an app called My FamiPort.
One of them is a webapp for selling point cards. It lets consumers browse through the categories and buy or add the specific items to their favorite list. Before placing the orders, people can put the items into a cart. Just like most e-commerce websites, users can adjust the amount of the items or even remove them. There is a count-down feature for a specific kind of point card that customers have to check out within the limit of time.
The other one is a webapp for cloud printing. After users choose the files they like to print, they can preview the information of the files. If those files are pictures, they can also preview the images in the slide box. The preview feature does all the works in the browser. Users can manipulate the files until they feel satisfied with the result; without causing any pressure on the server.
